Kitchen for Everyone York provide food and essential items to the homeless and vulnerable in York.
We offer a breakfast on a Sunday morning and a hot meal Wednesday evening at the Central Methodist Church. We also have an outreach service across the city on a Saturday and Monday evening.
Our Team
KEY is fortunate to have over 100 amazing volunteers working on a rotational basis.
Many of our volunteers are currently taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme which we wholeheartedly support and encourage younger volunteers to get involved with.
We also work closely with supporters who provide us with funds, storage space, supplies, collection and distribution of items throughout the various sessions at KEY and across York.
In addition we feel very strongly that the general public are part of the KEY team by responding to appeals whenever asked.
