KEY is fortunate to have over 100 amazing volunteers working on a rotational basis.

Many of our volunteers are currently taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme which we wholeheartedly support and encourage younger volunteers to get involved with.

There is a great support network for our volunteers provided by team leaders who meet regularly to discuss ways of improving our service both for the volunteers and the guests we serve.

We also work closely with supporters who provide us with funds, storage space, supplies, collection and distribution of items throughout the various sessions at KEY and across York.

In addition we feel very strongly that the general public are part of the KEY team by responding to appeals whenever asked.
