Reuse Santa
Reuse Santa is a charitable campaign to provide help for young people across North Yorkshire who are most in need this Christmas.
They need your help to collect used toys, games, books and puzzles for young people who might otherwise not receive a gift. Not only will this help to make Christmas easier for many families, it will also support the environment by encouraging a ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’ mindset.
Reuse Santa is delivered in partnership with City of York Council, North Yorkshire Council and selected charities.
They are also looking for volunteers who can help us sort through toy donations for our Reuse Santa campaign. (https://www.yorwaste.co.uk/community/reuse-santa/)

The SASH winter appeal
Every year, our Winter Appeal helps vulnerable young people in York and North Yorkshire find safety, warmth and support during a time when they need it most.
With your help, SASH can offer more people, like Lilly, the support they need to reach their potential, fulfil their dreams and live happy independent lives. Everyone should feel safe, not just during the winter.
If you can, please donate to help young people in need this winter.
York Hospital Childrens Ward
You can help staff bring some Christmas magic to the wards and give the gift of joy to patients in hospital this Christmas by donating £10 today.
This includes a special visit from Santa in the run up to Christmas, and a wonderful Christmas party to give patients and their families a time to celebrate. The play team even organise gifts for each child on the ward, to help make the day extra special.
