Michael joined KEY in 2017 after leaving the bank he had worked for for 28 years. Since this point Michael has worked in a number of roles, including Citizens Advice and community support roles and now works managing community based projects across North Yorkshire

Michael has extensive experience over the years volunteering and managing projects overseas in Romania and Lesotho.  He joined KEY to be involved with something closer to home.

Michael is KEY’s secretary so does a lot of the behind the scenes governance work that is required by a registered charity. He is also a team leader on both a Sunday and a Wednesday team.

Michael is a keen cyclist and enthusiastic, if not very good, guitarist.
