This evening as we reflect on our first week of lockdown I just want to say a massive thank you to some of our team leaders and trustees who haven’t stopped all week.

They have collected donations, made up food parcels, done shopping, distributed donations to families and communities, checked in on people, cooked for our homeless friends who are in temporary accommodation, checked on homeless/vulnerable friends who are isolating or in hospital and so much more ❤️

They have cried, they have laughed, they have felt frustrated and frazzled at the enormity of it all but above all of that they have shown nothing but love and compassion.

They do all this whilst all looking after their own families.

These amazing ladies deserve the biggest round of applause we can give them because they are just blooming brilliant.

Thank you to each of you for your dedication over the last week or two, you’ve been fabulous ❤️

Also a massive thanks to all of our team leaders, trustees, volunteers and supporters because without you we wouldn’t get through this 😍

Lots of love and thanks to you all, stay safe 🌈Helen xx ... See MoreSee Less

Everyone working together. If you can help that would be fantastic xAs you can see we are currently doing all we can to help the homeless community and the community in general by giving out donations to trusted partners and groups.

We are just one group and there are lots of other amazing groups doing the same and we are all trying to help each other.

We are funding purchases from our KEY account where needed as our ethos to help the vulnerable is definitely needed at the moment.

I have had a few messages from people saying they would like to donate to help us continue with this work which is truly amazing ❤️

If you’d like to donate then please feel free to send a cheque made payable to Kitchen for Everyone to C/O 4 Beckside Gardens, York YO10 3TX which is our registered address or you may wish to do a bank transfer in which case please message the page and we will send the bank info.

Thank you
Helen 😍 ... See MoreSee Less
